Joshua Tree National Park is located near Palm Springs, CA. Go in the morning when everything seems so quiet. You feel like you are the only one in the world. It was so interesting to see the terrain change as if a line had been drawn confining the Joshua trees to an unseen boundary. Well worth the drive and a good place to go camping and rock climbing.
